Responsibilities

All members of Cougar Ridge Elementary share responsibilities for developing and enforcing behavioral expectations, a code of conduct and a discipline system.

Staff

In addition to developing and implementing behavioral expectations, a code of conduct and a discipline system, staff will continuously teach children how to make good choices and effectively use anger management, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.

Students

In addition to meeting behavioral expectations by following the established cold of conduct, students will have the responsibility for making good choices using the anger management, conflict resolution and problem solving skills appropriate for the situation.

Parents

Parents are asked to communicate regularly with their child about his/her social development.  Parents are asked to keep the school informed of any changes in the child's life that may have an effect on her/her behavior.  Parents are asked to work with staff as needed in solving behavior problems.
