Respect Copyright laws. Don't
allow exchange of pirated software and set a good example yourself.

Be a role model. If your
children show interest in your computer use, explain what you are doing in
terms they can understand.

Stay involved! Without
constantly looking over their shoulder, stay involved in your children's
computer use. Ask them what they are doing. Listen as they tell you what
they are learning and what they like and don't like about software.

Work together occasionally.
Several program encourage cooperative learning, i.e. The Return of the
