Remember

- This will be our last week of parent helpers. I will
miss all of you!!
- Help we need volunteers to go to the zoo with us. We
only have 2 so far.
- Don't forget to send in your zoo field trip form back. As
soon as possible!
- This is our last week for spelling homework. You may
read if you wish but you don't have to. There will be no math
homework on Wednesday.
- Field day is this Wednesday , dress for the weather.

If you
want to work in the classroom or go on field trips, you will need a
Washington State Patrol form filed in the office. I will check those and
if you have not filed one I will send one home for you to fill out. |

There is now a link to the Everyday Math games, that you and your child
can play at home. Most are the same games we will be playing at
school. Have Fun and learn!!

. Posters will come home during the month your child is to share! The schedule will be found on this web site
under Project List. These dates have nothing to do with when your
child's birthday is. |

We have finished our
books. Any pages that we did not do in the workbook have fun finishing them
this summer. The workbook will make a great summer review. We will be introducing addition
and subtraction facts,
learning to read word problems and solve them. Keep practicing. How
your child make change for you. This is very difficult for first
graders.

Bonus Words |
Spelling will
start when we begin the reading books. Bonus words this week!. Bonus words are for the children who get a
perfect score on the pre tests on Mondays. They do not have to take
the regular test they write the bonus words for homework.
Their test is only on the bonus words. The bonus the words are
found in the going home folder at the bottom of the page. |
